(application for compatible cell phones)
BodyTel Mobile is an application for compatible cell phones* and turns the patient’s cell phone into not only a mobile transfer unit but also a mobile record. The application is installed on the patient’s cell phone and must be started, in order to transfer the measured values from the BodyTel devices to the database (BodyTel Center) in real time.
The transfer process is fully automatic and wireless. The measuring devices send the respective measured value by Bluetooth, the cell phone receives it and sends it immediately to the patient’s personal record by mobile internet connection (GPRS) or by using a WLAN. With BodyTel Mobile, additional information such as meals, medication, or other activities (e.g., sports activities) can be entered directly in the cell phone. A complete record of information relevant to treatment is thus created quickly and easily. In this process, the user is independent of computers, especially connection cables or docking stations. No matter whether the user is at home, at work, at school, or on vacation: with BodyTel Mobile, the patient always has his/her record to hand as well as an option for connecting to the database.
