BodyTel Scientific Inc. is a German-American company that specializes in telemedical monitoring and management systems for chronic diseases, particularly diabetes. We combine our knowledge in telecommunications, internet and medical technology to create new products and services for the changing needs of global health.
Not treated properly, chronic diseases like diabetes can cause serious problems such as kidney failure, lower limb amputations, blindness, heart disease, strokes and nerve damage. Proper monitoring and immediate and accurate patient data is key in managing the condition and preventing further complications that could be costly to managed care plans.

BodyTel is the first and only telehealth company that has created a comprehensive monitoring and management system for chronic conditions. Our goal is to provide patients, authorized healthcare professionals and caregivers with the most accurate data available.
Founded in 2006
The BodyTel system is a completely new approach to effective patient treatment that consists of several components used together in an integrated process. These components are Bluetooth wireless technology enabled meters (blood glucose meter, blood pressure device, weight scales), a Java application for Bluetooth wireless technology and internet enabled cell phones and a secure online database, with graphing and archiving capabilities.
BodyTel was incorporated in 2006 and publicly listed in the beginning of 2007. Shares of BodyTel are traded on the Over-the Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) under the symbol BDYT and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (FSE) under the WKN A0MKD5.
BodyTel Scientific Inc. wholly owns its subsidiaries BodyTel Europe GmbH, BodyTel North America, LLC and GlucoTel Scientific, Inc. BodyTel’s products (GlucoTel, PressureTel and WeightTel), developed and manufactured in Germany, will be marketed regionally by each respective subsidiary. |
